July 10, 1932 – February 28, 2024

Passed away at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga Hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in his 92nd year.

Beloved son of the late Harold and Pearl Parker. Loving husband of Ruth (née O’Leary).

Predeceased by his wife, Peggy (1989) and his stepson, Bob Hunn (2023).

Much loved stepfather-in-law of Jean Hunn. Dear brother-in-law to Michael (Helen) O’Leary and Bernard (Kathy) O’Leary. Cherished uncle to Jennifer (Chris) Ibell, and Gregory O’Leary.

Proud great-uncle to Madison, Jacob, and Taylor. Allen was dearly loved by everyone who knew him.

The family wishes to express their eternal gratitude to the kind, caring, wonderful nurses and medical team at Trillium Mississauga Hospital.

Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Wednesday, March 6th from 10-11 a.m. with a Service of Remembrance to follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scott Mission or a Charity of your choice.
