STANTON, Edward Roy – (15 March 1953 – 24 December 2015) – Suddenly, in Mexico, December 24, 2015. Edward Roy Stanton of Ottawa, age 62.

Cherished husband of Mary (Kavanagh), beloved father of three children, Robert, Jennifer and William and their mother, Diane (Nelles).

Survived by five sisters, Shirley McCarthy (Peter), Elizabeth Crawley (late Michael), Donna Stanton (Kevin), Cindy Harvey (Alan) and Pamela Roy (Dennis) who will miss their only brother.

Predeceased by his mother, Loretta Mitchell (late Paul).

Ed was loved by his extended family and enjoyed socializing with his many friends. He will be missed.

Special thanks to all Ed and Mary’s close friends in Barra de Navidad, Mexico for their support during this unexpected crisis.

As Ed said so many times, “No tears for me; just raise a glass to celebrate my life at a grand old Irish party”.

Cremation to take place in Mexico.
