EHNES: Larry John – passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Larry Ehnes of Tavistock on his 76th birthday.

Beloved husband of Brenda (Schwartzentruber) Ehnes whom he married November 3, 1973. Dear father of Percy Ehnes (Jennifer) of St. Marys, Andrew Ehnes (Shan Shan Wang) of Lisbon and Angela Trotter (Shawn) of Shakespeare. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Nathan, Evan, Alex, August, Jasmine, Cadence (Carter), Vanessa and great granddaughter Maeve. Survived by his brothers Wayne Ehnes (Karen) of Greenfield, Darryl Ehnes of Shakespeare, brothers and sisters-in-law Barb Duits (John ) of Forestville, Ken Schwartzentruber (Moe) of Dereham Centre, Joe Schwartzentruber (Liane Crawford) of Woodstock, Helen Schwartzentruber of London and Elinor McCready (Earl) of Scotland.

Predeceased by his parents Roy & Erna (Lantz) Ehnes, brothers and sisters-in-law Garry Schwartzentruber (Gloria & Elwood Bender), Betty Pardy, Doug Schwartzentruber and Dave Schwartzentruber.

Larry was a member of the North Easthope Antique Tractor Club (NEAT), a member of the Stratford Lakeside Active Adults Association and was an avid card player

Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Chapel of the Glendinning Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N. Tavistock on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00am. Interment Hampstead Cemetery. Fellowship to follow at the Tavistock Missionary Church.
