ELEY, Edward “Ed” F. Eley

Unexpectedly on Wednesday January 14, 2026, Edward “Ed” Franics Eley of Aylmer, formerly of Tillsonburg at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, passed away at 78 years of age. He is survived by his sisters Sheila Gorman, Darlene Dolan, Shirley Johnston and Marie Ferrede. Ed will be dearly remembered by his special friend Doreen Sparks and her children Christa, Ryan, Jennifer and Tara.

Ed will be missed by his niece Lori Gorman. He is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Dorothy.

Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON N4G 3T6 (519) 842-5221 on Friday January 30, 2026 from 10:00am until 11:00am. A Memorial Service will be held following the visitation in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am.
