David EmileDAVID, Emile  –  1925 – 2015
 
Passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Sunday December 27th, 2015.

Predeceased by Therese, his beloved wife of 64 years.

Loving father of Mike (Fran) David, Lise (Jim) Wilder, Sylvia (Cliff) David, George (Cindy) David and the late Suzanne Bertrand.

Proud and devoted Pépère of Wayne (Karen) Bertrand, Lori (Brad) Mahon, Ashley (Chris) MacInnes, Paul David, David (Jennifer) Wilder, Shawn (Amanda) Wilder, Julie David and Allison David.

Great-grandfather of Zander & Sophie Bertrand, Cheyanne, Caleb & Aiden Wilder and Wesley David and Radford MacInnes.

He will be sadly missed by his sister Cécile Drapeau, his son-in-law Lucien Bertrand (Anny), Marie-Anne David, Donald and Cecile Morin and Aurore Mason.

Emile and Therese built their family home in Barber’s Bay where they lived for 45 years.

In his earlier years, he held many different jobs in the forestry industry and was later employed by Superior Propane.

Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the Second Floor staff at Timmins and District Hospital for taking such great care of our father and were most compassionate.

Thank you also to the Trahan Family who spent time with the David Family at the hospital.

Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.  

A memorial service and interment will take place in the spring of 2016 and will be announced at a later date.
