PLATT, Ernest “Ernie” Robert Platt

PLATT, Ernest “Ernie” Robert   –  Passed away peacefully, in Toronto on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the age of 76.

Ernie was born in Trois Rivières, Quebec, on March 25, 1947.

He was the beloved husband of Trish Flaherty for 42 years.

Loving son of the late Ralph and Emily Platt.

Much-loved brother of Susan Platt and Ann Bryant (Terry).

Dear son-in-law of Mavis Lunny; and brother-in-law of Joanne Love (Jim), Rick Lunny (Lorrie) and Chris Lunny (Sarah). Ernie will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ernie enjoyed many hobbies including photography, music, painting, piano, running and sailing.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 2-4 p.m., with remembrances shared at 3 p.m.
