MASTERS, Ester  –  At age 95, after a short illness, in London, England.

Beloved wife of the late Leonard Masters; mother of Francine Masters and Susan Masters-Melvin; and her son-in-law, Kenneth Melvin.

Grandma of Richard Rabin, Amanda (Brian), Lindsay (David) and Rochelle (Michael); great ‘young’ grandma of Leora, Sophie, Jacob and Emma.

Esther was entirely devoted to her family, and worked together with Leonard in their sweet shop in Stanmore for many years.

She was a great cook and kept an immaculate Jewish home. She was a talented amateur artist and a not-so-talented bridge player.

She was predeceased by her six siblings. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was the sweetest lady, loved a good joke and had a great smile. She leaves a lasting legacy of unconditional love.

Funeral was held in London, England, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, and Shiva was observed there.

The Masters-Melvin family will receive visits on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 105 Mossgrove Trail, Toronto, from 2-5 p.m.
