Barbara Louisa Evans passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 69 years, Frederick. Beloved mother of Glyn (Heather) and Jackie (Larry). Cherished nanny to Scott (Katriina) and Dale (Maggie), and adored great-grandmother to Fallon Winnie and Gunnar.

Barbara immigrated to Canada in 1953 with the love of her life, Frederick. Together they built a beautiful life, settling in Brooklin for many years before moving to Newcastle.

Known for her quiet strength, generosity, and unwavering love for her family, Barbara was a source of warmth and wisdom. Her legacy will live on in the lives of those she touched.

As per Barbara’s wishes, no formal service will take place.
