EVELEY, Hayley Jane Eveley

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hayley Jane on February 3, 2026.

Hayley was a strong beautiful person who took life in her stride. She rode all of the ups and downs of her health journey from the age of 12 with resilience and strength.

She loved many things in life, but she would probably tell you that family, friends and her dogs gave her the most joy.

After studying Nursing at Conestoga College she began her career with Hamilton Health Sciences. She was a caring, compassionate nurse who touched the lives of many and who crossed paths with many professionals whilst working at the Juravinski, Hamilton General and Stonechurch Family Health Centre.

She will be forever remembered for her kindness, her smile, her dimples and her unwavering strength and courage.

She leaves behind her heartbroken husband Ryan, parents John and Deb, sisters Claire (Jamie), Alice (Gary) along with many other family members including her special “Nanny and Wawad” in England.

Friends and family will be received at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk & Fennell) on Saturday February 21st 2026 from 10 a.m. until the time of Service is in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Notes of sympathy and condolences may be made at www.dermodys.com
