BLOXAM, Evelyn   –  1921 – 2023  Evelyn passed away peacefully, at Newmarket Health Centre, on January 5, 2023, at the age of 101.

Missing her is her devoted son, Gerry and wife Joanne; her grandchildren, Brett (Jackie) and Kerry (Lisa); her great-grandchildren, Bailey (Mike), Madeline, Taylor (Enrico) and Evan; and great-great-grandchildren, Nicola, Marcella and Parker.

Predeceased by her husband, Sam; and sisters, Jean, Eileen; and brother, Reg. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. 

Evelyn worked for OHIP for many years and retired at 65, living in her own home for 57 years before moving to Newmarket. Her passion was gardening and some of her roses were over 40 years old. She was an accomplished knitter and seamstress, and everyone in the family has one of her creations.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Newmarket Health Centre for their kind and loving care. Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on April 22nd, at 11:00 a.m.
