EYK, Pauline Johan Van Eyk

It is with love and peace in our hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Pauline (Van Bree) Van Eyk of Watford ON in her 82nd year, on Sunday November 9, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.

Pauline was born on February 8, 1943. She was born in Holland, the tenth child in a family of twelve. She devoted her life to family. Pauline had a strong spirit, a contagious laugh, and a zest for life.

Mom was a beloved wife of the late William Van Eyk for almost 60 years. Together they raised three children Ken, Jeff and Joline. Mom was a devoted mother who was always ready to serve. She could whip up a feast on a moment’s notice and will be fondly remembered for her ‘nana breakies’. Mom saw things in black and white and wasn’t afraid to share those beliefs with her children especially while sitting around the kitchen table. She loved thrifting, had a flare for decorating and a quirky habit of shortening words to create her own language.

Pauline leaves behind her son Ken and his children Joshua, his wife Makenzie and their children Scarlet and Huxley; Kassia and the late Alf Mabbayad; Hayley; Jacob, his wife Katie and their children Bailey, Everly, Lincoln and Adelyn; Megan, her husband Ben Cooke and their twins Elliana and Jameson; Shawna; and Trisha.

Her son Jeff and his children Lindsay, her husband Kevin Boere and their children Jase and Aubree; Chad, his wife Rachel and their sons Rory and Maxwell; and Zach.

Her daughter Joline and her husband Rob Brant and their children Jessica, her husband Chris Lucio and their children Lily and Lucas; and Mitch and his wife Caitie.

In memory of Pauline, donations can be made to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Watford, ON, or to a charity of your choice.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF WATFORD from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. A private family service will be held.
