FEDKO,Andrew Fedko

Passed away, surrounded by family at Stratford General Hospital, Stratford, Ontario, on Saturday September 27th, 2025, in his 76th year.

Born in Leeds, England, Andrew was the son of the late Andrew and June Elizabeth (Lynas) Fedko. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Jane (Crozier) Fedko. Proud and loving father of his daughters Sarah Fedko of Toronto and Lisa Fedko-Gott (Andrew Gott) of Calgary. Forever remembered by his grandchildren, Christopher and Abigail Gott, and his brother-in-law, John Crozier of Dundas.

Andrew shared a special bond with the family’s beloved miniature schnauzers – Gerry, Sophie, Peter, Squidgy, and Theo. He was well known in the neighbourhood for his kindness to animals, and could often be found with treats for any dogs passing by, earning him the affection of both pets and their owners.

A long-time resident of Kincardine, Andrew was proud of his career as a Control Technician at Bruce Power (1977 – 2009). An avid fisherman, he was a partner in a charter fishing boat business for several years. He was also a dedicated member of the Fung Loy Kok Taoist Tai Chi Association and the Probus Club of Stratford. He was a devoted reader of Science Fiction and Fantasy novels throughout his life.

Andrew cherished his time living in Stratford, where he and Betty moved to in 2018, and was deeply grateful for the many wonderful friends and neighbours he came to know there. Always generous with his time and skills, he was happy to assist neighbours with home maintenance projects, acts of kindness that reflected his warm and helpful nature.

In keeping with Andrew’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private service was held by family at Kincardine Cemetery.
