FERGUSON, Donna Ferguson

The family of Donna Marie Ferguson are sad to announce her peaceful passing on September 5, 2025 at her home. She was 84 years of age.

Donna and Harry enjoyed 49 years of marriage and together raised five daughters in Petawawa and at Ferguson Lake. Together they owned and operated Ferguson Lake Campground near Calabogie, Ontario. Donna will be missed and fondly remembered by all of the friends that she made over these years.

Beloved mother of Louise Pilch (Tim), Leah Curtis (Gary), Ruth Crozier (Roger), Sandra Reinhardt (Joel), and Sharon Ferguson. Cherished grandma of Chelsea (Austen), Brighton (Amy), Mitchell, Montana, and Coltan.

Caring “Gigi” to her great grandchildren Everett and Avery.

Donna was the first born of John Lawrence “JL” and Freda Gervais of Calabogie. She will be missed by her siblings, John Gervais (Bernice), Patsy Maw (Mike), Margie Mackenzie (Brian) and Ken Gervais (Linda). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Harry, their infant son, James, her sister, Nancy Gorra, brother-in-law, Jack Gorra, and brother-in-law, Murray Ferguson.

Donna enjoyed shopping, travel, and dining out, as well as a variety of hobbies including yoga, flower arranging, needlepoint, and cake decorating. She also enjoyed cooking and hosting dinner parties.

Donna’s arrangements have been entrusted to the

Pilon Family Funeral Home in Arnprior.

A private graveside service will be held at

Hillcrest Union Cemetery.
