It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bette on Monday, May 5th, 2025 at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital at the age of 81. Dear wife of the late James Grant (Jim) Ferjo (2017). Loving mother of Lisa Thornton (Michael) and Michael Ferjo (Carolyn). Beloved grandmother of Dryden (Jacqueline), Hannah, Danielle (Ryler), Ethan (Madelyn) and Annika and Klara Thornton. Proud GG of Lainey and Everette. Predeceased by her grandson Dawson James Ferjo. Survived by her brothers Jim Corcoran (Kathleen) of Toronto and Louis Corcoran of New Brunswick. She will be fondly remembered by all her extended family and friends and her grand pup Rosie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 4pm to 8pm at the Oshawa Funeral Home, (905-721-1234) located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4. A service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, May 18th, 2025 at 1:30pm. Reception to follow. Cremation.
Both Bette and Jim will be interred with their grandson Dawson at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery.
