FIELD, John Charles Field

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit in Sarnia, on Sunday, July 6, 2025, John Charles Field, age 76, of Sarnia and formerly of Corunna, passed away. John was the loving son of the late Raymond (2011) and Rose Field (2024). He was a dear brother to David Field (Dianne), Rene Field, Kim Gledhill (Mark), Christine Carpenter (Christian), Janice Smith (Brian), and Nancy Selman (Robert). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by an infant daughter, Sarah (1983).

John spent 33 years working for CN and another 17 years with OWS. In his early years, he enjoyed muscle cars and became an avid woodworker, making various items for family and friends. His passion for craftsmanship left lasting memories for those who received his creations.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit or the Bluewater Health Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
