FILLEUL, Philip Thomas Filleul

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Thomas Filleul of Kelowna, BC, who died peacefully surrounded by his family on May 8, 2025, at the age of 74.

Phil was a devoted father to five children. He was respected and trusted by many, not only for his business acumen, but for his generosity and characteristic dry wit.

Phil is survived by his loving spouse, Murielle Gauthier, as well as his children and grandchildren: Chris Filleul (Stacey Kirk) and Cadrin and Carrena; Sarah Chileen (Mark) and Benjamin and Jorden; Andrea Filleul (Kenji Kokaji) and Tadaaki and Emiko; Adam Filleul (Rekha Chagarlamudi) and Raiah, Saheli, Sesha, and Aasha; and Allison Doucet (Eric) and Ella. He is also survived by his sister Joanne Williams (Jody); the mother of his children, Jennifer Barrett; and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Phil was predeceased by his parents, Philip Sr. and Eleanor Filleul.

An Interment will take place at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC, on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Following the interment, family and friends are warmly invited to an open house gathering at the family home on Tanager Court in Kelowna.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency or the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
