FIORE, Irene D’Ambrosio Fiore
November 11, 1933 - September 2, 2025
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at Arbour Creek Care Centre, on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at age of 91. Reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband Giuseppe (2003). Loving and devoted mother to Mary McCarvell, the late Gino (Anne) and Joseph D’Ambrosio (Nicky). Proud grandmother of Pamela (Jordan), Billy (Haeley), Irene (Justin), Jessica (Johnny), Valerie (Al), Reginald (Holly), Michael, Joey (Cristina) and Victoria. Cherished great-grandmother of John (Lisa), Ryan, Nathan, Sebastjian, Gianna, Antonio and Blair. Dear sister to Salvatore Fiore and Teresa Guiliani. Predeceased by her parents Fortunata and Luigi Fiore, siblings Assunta Madia (Tony), Clara Mascaro (Tony) Franca Cardamone (Carmen), and in-laws Antonietta and Vincenzo D’Ambrosio, and brothers-in-law Giacinto and Francesco D’Ambrosio. Irene will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Irene was a warm and giving person, that dedicated her life, not only to her cherished family, but also to God and her Catholic faith. She loved tradition and the importance of ensuring those special events took place every year, such as the summer cuccia, a family gathering for which she prepared all the homemade food from scratch. Nana’s house was always filled with warmth, and the delicious aromas of her cooking and baking. She found her greatest joy in preparing meals for her children and grandchildren, bringing the family together around her table.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff at Arbour Creek Care Centre for their compassionate care and providing our mother with comfort and dignity during her final days.
