FOREMAN, June M. E. Foreman

In the early hours of Thursday, May 22, 2025, with her loving son Stephen at her side, June peacefully said her last goodbye. For 91 years, June brightened the lives of everyone who had the opportunity to know her. A lady to her core, she had a wicked sense of humour and loved to lighten the moment with a well-timed quip. She was blessed with a beautiful smile, a warm heart, endless patience, and a never-ending desire to make every day a little brighter for all those in her life.
Family was paramount for June. As a mother, her love and support for Stephen knew no bounds. She imparted the importance of family, compassion, respect, caring for others and financial prudence. The sun rose and set on her daughter-in-law Patricia (Havill). Pat was the apple of her eye. June cherished every moment with her grandsons Robert and Sean. She took great pride in their personal and athletic accomplishments and relished the opportunity for witty bantering with them both. June had many grand times and outings with her nephew’s wife, Jeanette Manning and Jeanette’s two dogs Vincent and Barley.

A loving and devoted wife to Ray for 63 years, they travelled and cruised the world in their retirement and kept a love for one another that will forever be inspirational to our family. In retirement, June loved to play bridge and while in Ottawa often worked as a volunteer. After moving to Amica in the Toronto area, she managed their in-house theatre movie selections and participated on many of the Amica social committees. June started her career at Canada Life, moving on to CIL, and finally retiring as an office manager with Royal LePage, Ottawa. Predeceased by her husband Raymond, and sister Barbara Boles (nee Swift) she is survived by her beloved, son Stephen, daughter-in-law Patricia, her grandsons Robert and Sean and her many nieces, nephews and friends.
