FORWARD, Joan Forward

Passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, at Fosterbrooke Long Term Care. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Forward, parents Hilda and Albert Whipp, and siblings Pauline Skinner, Douglas Whipp, Ronald Whipp, (Joyce) and Margaret Hunt (Jack). Joan is survived by her brother Robert Whipp (Carol) and her sister-in-law Joyce Whipp. She will be missed by her godchildren Eric Hunt, Bruce Hunt (Barb), and Stacey Hunt, her many nieces and nephews and her best friend of 73 years Kathy Chatterton. Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St, Bowmanville, ON, on October 1, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 am, followed by a chapel service and burial at Westminster Cemetery. Donations to Ontario Shores for Mental Health Services are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
