BARTON, Frank Edwin – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Thursday December 31, 2015 at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Margaret for 61 years. Loving father of F. David (Barb), Daniel (Kim), Donald (Brenda) and Carolann Bennett (Dave). Missed by his grandchildren Laura Eady (Kyle), Jessica Adams (Alex), Stephen and Sarah Bennett, Kaleigh and Aaron Barton, and great-grandchildren Henry and Alice Eady.

Also survived by his sister Muriel McEwan and brother Vincent (Jean) Barton. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Emily Barton, sister Nora (Sister Emily) and brother-in-law Mal McEwan.

Frank retired from Carborundum (Washington Mills) after 37 years.

The family will receive friends at Morse & Son funeral home, Niagara Falls on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel Monday at 11 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow.

In memory of Frank, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
