FRASER, Bonnie Dawn Fraser
February 10, 2026
It is with deep and profound sadness that we announce the untimely, and tragic passing of Bonnie Fraser in her 70th year, who ultimately left us surrounded by the people she loved. Beloved daughter of Donald and Glenora. Bonnie was a loving sister to Edwin, Debbie, Robin, and Audrey. Devoted Aunt of Daniel, Brandon, Brian, Chris, Adam, and David. A treasured and faithful friend to many, many others.
A born and raised Hamiltonian, Bonnie graduated from Scott Park Secondary School in 1973. For many years she had a successful career as an underwriter in the insurance industry. Bonnie had the unique ability to connect with people. Thus, she touched many, and formed close bonds throughout her vibrant, illustrious life. She enjoyed travelling immensely, and had a special affinity for Canada’s East Coast. A life long lover of animals, Bonnie took in as many strays as would show up. A cat lady, through and through. All the best ones are. She will be missed greatly by her cats Mackie and Poppy and warmly welcomed by all cats past. We love you, we miss you, you are always in our hearts, and all around us.
We would like to thank the ICU team at the Hamilton General Hospital for their support during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held at Donald V.
