POWELL, Freda (nee Tallevi)  –  94 years.

Peacefully, Thursday, December 24th, 2015, at Extendicare York, Sudbury, with loving family at her side.

Beloved wife of J.J. Powell predeceased 1991.

Loving mother of Janis (husband Hugh Dougan), Robert (wife Christine), Brent, Susan (husband Syd Marcotte), and Shelly.

Cherished grandmother of Brandon, Ryan (Susan), Valerie (Keith), Steven, and Cody.

Dear daughter of Valerino and Elisa (Giovanelli) Tallevi predeceased.

Dear sister of Maria McInnes (husband Jack) both predeceased, Florida Talevi (husband John) both predeceased, and Lovina Couch (husband Ben) both predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews.

A devout Roman Catholic, she attended mass faithfully and she was a longtime and dedicated member of the CWL. Freda was devoted to her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Service will be heldin Sudbury ON, on Tuesday, December 29th.  Interment in the family plot.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the COPD Support Group, Sudbury Chapter, would be appreciated.
