FREEMAN, Glen Lamont Freeman
September 2, 1949 - March 1, 2026
It is with profound sadness, that the family of Glen Freeman, of North Buxton, announces the passing of a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend.
Glen went to be with the Lord midday on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
Son of the late Charles “Doc” Freeman and Keitha Scott, Glen was born on September 2, 1949.
He will be greatly missed by his children shared with Maureen Freeman, Tameka Lynn (predeceased), Tara Danielle and Glen Lamont with wife Sanaz Freeman of Windsor, Ontario.
Siblings of Glen include Len, Veronica, Sharon, Gene, Anna Marie, Grant, Darcy, Brenda, June, Marilyn, Dennis and Sandy.
Grandfather to Jacob and Jesiah. Uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and friend of many.
Glen, lived in the village of North Buxton where his family and friends, if not visiting with him, would most often spot him watching over the comings and goings of the town from the back of his property which was lovingly coined “the back forty”. Glen built his career and dedicated much of his adult life working for many years with the Canadian National Railway.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service. Preparation for Glen’s final resting is being cared for by Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham (519-352-5120). The family will have a private memorial to celebrate and honor his life, and would like to share appreciation for the care and kindness shown during this difficult time from this kind facility.
