Our world lost a kind, sensitive man on Sunday at the age of 82.

Bill will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Susan, his kids Heather and Cameron, grandkids, Betty & Decklan, son-in-law, Steve, the Croziers, the Carrolls and everyone touched by the sparkle in his eye when he smiled and lucky enough to experience his signature firm handshake.

Billy, as his mother, Isabel Frize (of Scotland) called him, kept his cheeky sense of humour right to the end. Always with a sparkle in his eye, he charmingly challenged the support staff at Lakeridge Health and Traditions Physiotherapy floor while continuing to make a lasting impression wherever he went.

The family would like to thank everyone who shared so much love, support and kindness over the years.

Bill often said, “make a difference”. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please “make a difference” by spreading random acts of kindness, giving to a charity of your choice and taking a moment to look people in the eye when you offer them a sincere, firm handshake.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will take place at a later date.
