FUNNELL, Joan Funnell

passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Born in Wartburg, ON., daughter of the late Henry and Verna (Herborth) Mueller. Joan was predeceased by her loving partner Donald Wayne Plummer on September 10, 2018.

Joan is survived by Don Plummer (Tracy Mann) and her grandchildren Shantel Plummer and Jacoby Plummer. Joan is survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Mueller and the Plummer-in-laws Bill Plummer, Robert Kollman and Cheryl McMann (Dave Marlow) along with her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and Don, Joan was the last surviving member of her immediate family predeceasing; John Mueller, Robert Mueller, Dorothy and Fred Mielke , Calvin and Marion Hoffman and the Plummer-in-laws; Marlene Wilson, Lorna (Sam) Sproule, Raymond (Joan), Jim (Hilda), Linda Kollman, Jack Plummer, Hilda Plummer and Clifford Plummer.

In keeping with Joan’s wishes cremation has taken place and the family will gather privately to celebrate her life.
