GABRIELE, Pierino Mario Gabriele

It is with great sadness, but also with much love, that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, and nonno, Pierino Mario Gabriele, on March 7, 2026, in Toronto, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on September 3, 1948, in Sora, Frosinone, Italy, Pierino was the beloved son of the late Pasquale and Ersilia Gabriele.

Pierino was the loving husband of Margherita Gabriele (née Ferrara). He was a proud and devoted father to Fabio (Anna) Gabriele and Stefania (David) Grossi. He was an adored nonno to Victoria, Andrew, Michael, and Eric, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.

He is also remembered by his siblings: Anna (Carlo), Lidia (Domenico), Eva (the late Fiorino), and Giuseppa (Bruno), along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In 1970, Pierino arrived in Canada, motivated by the aspiration to build a brighter future. His determination and perseverance laid the foundation for a life rich with friendships, family, and meaningful opportunities. Throughout the years, Pierino delighted in many travels and treasured countless gatherings and celebrations with loved ones, always embracing the vibrant Italian community that he held dear.

Pierino was known as a hardworking independent contractor, deeply committed to his craft. His strong work ethic earned admiration from all who knew him. Despite the demands of his profession, Pierino found peace and happiness in nature. He cherished fishing excursions from his boat with family and friends and enjoyed spending time in Ontario’s deep woods, where he discovered relaxation and a welcome escape from daily stresses.
