GARANT, Pamela Jean Elizabeth Garant

After a life lived with love, generosity and devotion to her family, Pamela Jean Elizabeth Garant (nee Huckle) of Chatham, Ontario, lost her courageously fought battle to cancer on Friday, February 6th, 2026 at Chatham – Kent Hospice.  Pam had a huge heart that she inherited from her parents, Beverly and Victor Huckle. Helping someone in need was never a question, it was just who she was. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Pam leaves behind her devoted husband, Dan Grieve, who was her rock, her loving children Darryl Garant (Shania), Dylan Garant (Emily), Brian Roets (Joei), Tara Huffman, Tammy Noel (Roger), and Tania Simon (Boswell).. Beloved sister of Rose Helmer (Donna), Ruth Dodge (Bill), Joyce Ramsden (Harry), Ed Huckle (Tammy), Patti Horton (Oscar), Vicki Eskritt (Garnet),  and Jerry Huckle. She will be deeply missed by her 17 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  Pam’s love lives on in her children and grandchildren and she will be forever missed and deeply loved.   A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 at KBD – Kent Belgium Dutch Canadian Club 34 Byng Avenue, Chatham from 5 – 10 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice would be appreciated by her family.  Online condolences may be left at www.funeraloptions.ca.
