GARDNER, Joan May Gardner

In loving memory of Joan May Gardner (Crawford), born March 27, 1943, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 7, 2026.

Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose strength and love shaped the lives of all who knew her. She is reunited now with her beloved husband, Alexander Gardner, with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership, and devotion.

She leaves behind her cherished sons James (Teresa), Chris, and Hal (Heather), who will forever carry her guidance and love in their hearts. Joan was a proud and loving grandmother to Terry, Sherri, Alex, Charlette, and Payton (Caleb, Abaine & Cyrelle), and a delighted great-grandmother to Rachel and James. Her family was her greatest joy, and she celebrated them with pride.

Joan is also survived by her brother Jack and her sister June, who shared in her memories, her humour, and the deep bonds of family.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her resilience, and her beautiful gardens that she tended to most lovingly. Her legacy lives on in the stories told, the traditions passed down, and the love she shared with her family.
