GEEAR, Johana Elizabeth Geear

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, following a short illness, Johana went home to her Lord at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of Michael Geear for 61 years. Loved mother of Jeffrey (Cheryl), Robert (Stephanie), and Renée and dear grandmother of nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Johana was the second youngest of eight siblings. She is survived by older brother, Magnus Thorlakson and older sister, Margaret Bradbury.

Johana was known for her love of God and of others. Her unwavering faith in God and unconditional love are a testament to her strength and character. Her warm and friendly smile touched everyone around her. She found joy in painting and drawing and she was an avid reader and loved to play games. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her in return.

Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 7-9 p.m. Private cremation to follow. A Memorial Service will be held at COMMUNITY CHURCH, 271 Concession Rd. 6 E., Millgrove on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
