It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious mother, Barbara Ann General, surrounded by her loving family at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on June 29, 2025.

Beloved mother of Michelle & Hollis, Jolene & Cliff, Juanita, Cayuga, Skylar, and Valerie Harris. Cherished grandmother of Stephen, Spencer, Shane, Santana, Austen, Riley, Korrie, and Thaweratenny Bomberry. Great-grandmother to Kevin, Mercedes, Stevie, Sadye, Elias, Natalia, Maveric, Keaton, Alivia, Rosalia, Elainia, Nathan, and Joseph.

Loving sister of Emmert General Jr., Anita, and Basil. She will also be missed by many chosen children, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents Emmert General Sr. and Christine General (Miller), her siblings Robin, Sylvia, Patricia, Donald, Cynthia, Elwood, Lawrence, and Marilyn, her son Anthony General, and grandson James General.

Resting at her home, 2107 Second Line, Ohsweken, after noon on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The funeral service and burial will be held at Sour Springs Longhouse on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
