WEAVER, Geoffrey ‘Geoff’ – It is with heartfelt sadness our family announces Geoff’s passing on Saturday, October 10th, 2015 at the age of 77 with his family by his side at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Geoff was a very devoted husband of 59 years to the love of his life, Arllene. Dad will be deeply missed by his children Eric, Jody (Tim), Cynthia, and Michael.

Papa will be forever in the hearts of his grandchildren Tralayna, Kendalyn, Timmy (Julie), Josh (Alia), Meagan (Joel), Katelyn, Lindsay, Zack, and Maggie. Geoff’s seven great grandchildren will all have fond memories of their Poupon.

Geoff had many great friends who were all a big part of his life, they will sadly miss him on pizza nights.

Geoff retired following 32 years at Hayes Dana. Early on, Geoff volunteered on the Welland Fire Department Station 1.

Family invites friends to Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2250 Regional Road 20, Fonthill, Ontario, where visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 14th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 15th at 11 am with interment to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Our family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the St. Catharines General, Juravinski Hospital, and the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital where they went above and beyond in showing care and compassion.
