GEORGE, Danielle Lou George

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Danielle Lou George on February 1, 2026, at the age of 37. Beloved mother of Carlos George. Loving daughter of Bonnie Plain and the late Darrell Lee George. Cherished sister of Dennis (Vicki) Plain, Jamie Munoz, Andrew Munoz, McKay Swanson, Christine George, Cassandra George, and Lee Wilde. Treasured friend of Michael (Keeb) Joseph, Jeff Williams, Jeffrey Plain, and William Meloche. Danielle will be lovingly missed by her aunties, who adored her, and by her many cherished cousins who will remember her with fondness. She will also be missed by her dear nephews, Santana and Demetrio. Predeceased by her loving Grandma Viv. She cherished her son Carlos, more than life itself, and was an animal lover especially her kitties. Danielle could be best described as feisty with a tough exterior, but those lucky enough to be included in her circle knew that she had a soft heart that emanated with kindness. Danielle embraced life’s challenge with inner strength and persevered with determination. Family and friends will be received at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave., Sarnia, on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Maawn Doosh Gumig at 1:00 p.m., with visitation being held 1 hour prior from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Aamjiwnaang Cemetery.
