GEORGE, Darwin Pete George

Mount Forest passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Guelph General Hospital, at age 80. Dear father of Peter (Cynthia) George, Carolyn (Greg) Hiusser, Samantha (Mark) Hoffele, Donna George, and Luke-Robert (Sarah) George.

Beloved partner of Sharon Valade and will be remembered by her children Blaine (Carrie) Davidson and Cindy (Russ) Snowden. Pete was cherished by his 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his grandson Rhys George, siblings Walter (Anita) George, Laverne (Jack) Johnston, Geraldine (Keith) Goessell, Mary Louise George, and his parents Percy and Lavina (nee Dennie) George.

Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Reception to follow at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102, Walkerton. A livestream of the funeral service will be available using “Watch Webcast” below.
