Elwood Tracy George (Giniw, Namebin doodem) of StonEy Point drifted off to sleep on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026 at his home at the age of 65.

Dear father of Wesley Gardiner George (Shayna) and his mother, Pam Plain. Elwood’s pride and joy was his granddaughters; Elsie and Jada.

Elwood will be lovingly remembered by his siblings; Franklin George (Jo), Joy and Rob (Delina). Survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents; Abraham and Muriel George and his siblings; Verle, Carl-Nish (Josephine), Sandy (Axel), Donna, Jerry, Mary (Norman), Judas (Nancy), Stewart, Tina (Snail).

Friends are welcome to join the family for visitation at Elwood’s home at StonEy Point on Saturday and Sunday (service Sunday evening at 7) followed by a funeral service on Monday at 1 pm. Interment to follow at StonEy Point Cemetery.
