HATFIELD, George Ernest Hatfield

HATFIELD, George Ernest   – Passed away peacefully, at Credit Valley Hospital, on July 15, 2023, in his 93rd year.

George is now reunited with his beloved wife, Betty, after 5 short months of being apart.

Devoted father of Greg and Kim, and Chris and Shadi; wonderful grandfather to Lindsay (Lucas) and Kathryn; predeceased by his mother and stepfather, Alexandrina and Edward Copland; his father, George Ernest Hatfield; and his three sisters, Dorothea, Pearl (Cecil) and Rena (Bill).

George will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Robert; his many nieces and nephews; friends and neighbours.

Many thanks to the 3rd Floor Staff at Credit River Retirement Residence and the Credit Valley ICU staff who provided wonderful care to both George and the family during his final days.

Visitation will be held at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Road, on Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow.
