JAMES, George Howell James

It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest George, who passed away at AgeCare Aurora, on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 93.

Reunited with his beloved wife, Margaret James (nee Maxwell), whom he was lovingly married to for 70 wonderful years prior to her passing in 2023.

Cherished father to Anne (the late Randy) James-Samuel of Burlington, Gary James of Richmond Hill, and Michael (Natalie) James of Aurora.

Proud grandfather to Christopher (Michelle), Jennifer (Dan), Griffin, Carson and Harper; and great-grandfather to Kennedy, James, Rhodes, Nash and Hayes.

Forever in the hearts of his niece, Elizabeth (Jim) Hayle of United Kingdom.

Predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Edna James (nee Howell).

George may be gone from this world; however, he lives on in the stories and memories he has left with all those he touched during his lifetime.

As per George’s wishes, and that of his family, a private cremation has taken place.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
