WARD, George Edward Ward

WARD, George Edward  –  In Loving Memory George Edward Ward of Oakville, Ontario, passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 85 years.

George was born in Hillsport, Ontario, on January 20, 1938.

Predeceased by parents, Alice (Ma) and Earnie; stepfathers, Phillip and Jock; brothers, Frank, Jim and Bob; and sister, Jean. Forever remembered by brothers, Guy and Jock; many nieces and nephews; the Ranney, Thrasher and Fell families; neighbours and special friends.

George grew up in Hornepayne, Ontario. He enjoyed his lifetime career as a crane operator, and was a member of the local 793 IUOE.

George’s favourite things to do were woodworking, mechanics in his garage, making custom lures and taking many fishing trips to Kaby Cabins.

He will also be remembered for his many stories and enjoyment of good music.

Most of all, George is remembered by his dearest wife, Patricia Christine (Bonneland) Ward, enjoying 56 years of marriage with many travels and adventures.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
