HEISE, Gerhard Arnold Roland ‘Gary’ – It is with heavy hearts the family of Gary Heise announces his passing on December 25th, 2015 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital at the age of 72.

Loving father of Brad Heise and Kristen and Brian Parkyn (nee Heise). Former husband of Martha Heise.

Beloved Opa of Sophie Ann and Graydon Oliver William Parkyn. Predeceased by his parents Arnold and Anna Heise, sister Gisela Windsor, and his niece Karen Weber. Gary will also be missed by his cat Pandora.

Gary’s 30 year teaching career began at Fort Frances-Rainy River District and ended at North Middlesex District High School, Parkhill. Gary will be remembered for his sarcastic, witty, dry humour. He was an avid collector, had love for music, comedy, Sudoku and the New York Times crossword.

A casual memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, January 2nd, 2016 from 1 until 3p.m at Denning’s of Strathroy.

The family would like to thank his doctor of 30 years, Dr. Buma and the staff at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital as well as his neighbours for their exceptional kindness.
