OORD, Gerharda ‘Gerda’ – Passed away into the arms of her Lord and Saviour, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer at Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in her 82nd year.

Lovingly remembered by her family: daughter Joanne Korten and son Greg Blake; grandchildren Daryl (Tara), Danielle (Aaron), Laura (Dustin), Lindsay (Michael), Jeremy, Daniel (Deb); and great-grandchildren Caleb, Callie, Meredith, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Noah.

Dear sister of late Antje (late Klaas) Helder, John (Sophia), Gerard (Marian), Ben (late Helen), late Dianne Oord (Paul), late Johanna (Gary) McQuillen, late Andrew, Eddie (Darlene), and late Fred (Wilma).

Friends will be received at Ballard Minor funeral home, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville, Ontario on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 9th at 1 p.m. Burial will precede the funeral at Zion Cemetery, Wainfleet.
