Surrounded by love, Adelmo, cherished husband, father, Nonno and Bis Nonno passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025. Devoted husband to Avelina, beloved father to Danilo and Marie (2005), Nadia and Robert (Plackmann) and Vladio and Maria. Treasured Nonno to Paul, Peter, Marc, Andrea, Anita, Eric and Alexa. Proud Bis Nonno to Giorgio, Luca and Gabriel. Predeceased by his parents Vladimiro (1986) and Emilia (Zubin) (2009). Adored brother of Aldo (2009), bother-in-law to Maria, Zio to Cristina Toniolo and great uncle to Gianluca.

Born in Pola, Istria, Italy Adel came to Canada in 1951 where he met his future wife Avelina, whom he was married to for 68 years. They have been the gold standard of love and devotion to each other for their children and grandchildren. Adelmo set an example for his family through his hard work, determination, love and stories of his travels from Italy to Canada. His work ethic and core values will live on in his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Adelmo was a well-respected leader in the Tool and Die industry, where he advanced to the position of plant manager. Known for his problem-solving skills, he ensured every issue was resolved, leaving each project completed to the highest level.

A friend to many over his 94 years, Adel would help all who asked and those who did not ask. He was a jack of all trades and a self-taught stained-glass artist. He enjoyed repairing and restoring clocks of all varieties with a special affinity for the 400-day clock. Adelmo shared his talents as a gesture of friendship and love.

Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 11am-1pm. Followed by a chapel service beginning at 1pm. The family will say a private goodbye at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Canada. A heartfelt thank you to the doctors involved with his care, especially Dr. John Coates. A special thank you to the nursing team at the Dialysis Clinic and the nurses at Malden Park Continuing Care, 3 South unit.
