It is with profound sorrow that the family announces the passing of Gina Pretty-Olmstead in Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the age of 56 years. Beloved daughter of Lawrence (predeceased) and Gale (née Andrusiek).

Gina is survived by her loving husband, Steven Olmstead; her children, Michael and Robyn Olmstead; her brother David Pretty (Jacquie Robinson); her sister Jan Kerwin (Yann); and her three nephews Xavier, Torin, and Felix. She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, generosity, youthful spirit, love of gardening, and fierce loyalty to family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the West Nipissing General Hospital, or simply remember her when you plant a garden of your own. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
