GIROUX, Denise Giroux

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Giroux, on December 25th 2025. Denise was predeceased by her husband Bernard, her parents Jean-Paul Vandal and Rose (D’Amours).  She leaves behind her children Guylaine Piché (Charles), Mélanie Giroux (Henry), Stéphane Giroux, and grandchildren Xavier and Conrad. She will be missed by her sisters Nicole Vandal, Lucie Vandal-Parent (late Louis), her brother Raymond Vandal (Monique) and her sisters-in-law Sr. Rhéa, Sr. Desneiges, Louise Ménard (late Henri), Simone Lemay (André), Yolande Houle (Marcel), and brother-in-law Yvan (Rachel) as well as many nieces and nephews.

While she will be greatly missed, memories of Denise will forever remain with us.  She has touched many people in her time as a teacher, her work with the parents council at her children’s elementary school, her generosity helping different groups and years supporting her husband in charity organisations.

We thank her sister-in-law Simone and her friends Johanne and Pierrette for the time they spent with Denise during the last months.  Their love for her is incomparable.

The family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Home on Friday January 2nd at 10am.  A payer service will follow at noon.
