GODARD, Guillaume Godard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guillaume “Bill” Godard at the age of 92 on Thursday October 30th, 2025. Founder of Godard Stationery Ltd, owner of Upper Valley Book Shop, East Valley Book Shop among many more retail stores. Beloved husband for 69 years of Marie-Rose Godard (nee Rousselle). Loving father of Gilles (Susan) and Michel (Marianne). Cherished grandfather of Joël, Véronique (Audrey-Anne), François (Melina), Chloé, Jazz (Bob) and Adam (April). Great grandfather to Abigail, Amelia, Olivier, Coralie, Benjamin and Mathias. Dear brother of Pauline Constantineau (Jacques) and Jean-Marie Godard (Lorraine).
He is predeceased by his parents Adelard Godard and Antoinette (née Denis), his siblings Jerome (late Rita), Geätan, Agathe Jolicoeur (late Hermas), Anita Lalonde (late Oscar), Lina Ouellette (late Robert), Vincent, Denis, Charles, Françoise Guenard (Serge) and granddaughter Leslie.
A private service will be held at a later date.
