It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John on Sunday, November 30th, 2025, at the age of 55. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Kelly Gomez (née Denny), with whom he shared 11 wonderful years, as well as their fur baby, Dixie.

John is also survived by his loving mother, Betty Gomez, and his siblings: Michael McLaffon, Alicia Gomez (Roel), and Nick Gomez. His favourite sister-in-laws, Roseanne Denny and Kimberly Gordon (Jon), and his bestest friend, Tim Tennant (Tammy). Additionally, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. As well as a flamazing flamboyance of friends. John is predeceased by his parents, John and Cheryl Gomez.

John was a proud member of The Knights of Columbus. Past Grand Knight Council #9528 St. John Vianney. Trustee with the Fr. Alphonse Kerckhaert Assembly #2289 and Past District Warden for District #76.

John was a cherished member of the Customer Service Team at Global Excel Management where is will be greatly missed.

Donations to Transition To Betterness.

Visitation will be held at Families First East Windsor (1065 Lauzon Rd.) on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 12th, 2025 at Our Lady of Atonement from 9:30am until time of funeral mass at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
