GOODWIN, George William Goodwin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George William Goodwin on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Maureen Goodwin (née Bertrand). Loving father of David Hopkins (Mirian), Christopher Goodwin (Lynn), Shawn Goodwin, step dad to Derek, Randy and Chris. Proud grandfather to Danielle, Ashley and Brianna. George will be missed by his sister Barbara Thompson (Einar).
Predeceased by his parents William John and Sybil Goodwin (née Henfrey).

In respect of George’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations to ALS Canada in George’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
