GORE, Mike Gore

After a brief illness, Mike Gore, a resident of Bothwell, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on January 25, 2026, at the age of 73, with his family by his side.

Mike will be deeply missed by his cherished family: his loving wife Shirley, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage; his devoted children Keri and Bryan (Kathleen); his beloved granddaughters Mikayla and Alexandria; and his great-grandson Atlas.

He is the son of Audrey and the late Joseph Gore, and son-in-law to the late Alec and Hazel Osborne. Mike is also survived by his siblings Allan (Karen), Larry (Sharron), and Michelle Marsh; his brothers- and sisters-in-law Mary Ellen Broad (Lloyd 2012); (Dave Haddock), Debbie (Rick) June, Patti (Gary 2023) Osborne, and good friend Gerry Marsh; as well as many aunts, nieces, and nephews.

A private graveside service, officiated by Pastor Steve Filyer, has taken place at Bothwell Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Mike may be made to Scouts Canada or to a charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
