GRANT, Matthew Matt Grant

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew “Matt” Grant of London, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at University Hospital, following a brief illness, at the age of 35. Born in London on June 18, 1990, Matt was the beloved son of Jeffrey Grant and a devoted brother to Jonathon. He was a cherished uncle to Adia and Abby, whose lives he brightened with his adventurous spirit. Matt will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. A graduate of Fanshawe College’s business school, Matt was defined by his passion for exploration. He found joy in the open road, having journeyed by car to every mainland Canadian province and across the United States. A loyal and enthusiastic fan of the New England Patriots, he took great pride in Tom Brady’s seven Super Bowl wins. He was also an avid golfer from a young age, who cherished the camaraderie of the game. Closer to home, Matt was a familiar and beloved face at the Dawghouse Pub, where he found a second family among friends and staff who meant the world to him. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Matt’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to London Cremation Services. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the ICU team at University Hospital for their exceptional care, compassion, and support during a most difficult time.
