Marjorie Bertha Green (née Shaw) passed away peacefully with family at Ajax-Pickering General Hospital on April 11, 2025.

Born and raised in Birtle and Brandon, Manitoba, Marjorie had a career as a Medical Lab and X-Ray Technologist for 40 years in Manitoba and Ontario.

Known for her kind, generous and supportive nature, and listening ear, Marjorie loved being a part of many groups in the church and had lifelong friendships she held dear. Her daily dedication was to be of service in the United Church. She was very active in the community in various groups, committees, and Foundations. Marjorie was an avid knitter and some of her favourite activities included singing, sewing, reading, and camping. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and daughters across North America and other places around the world.

Marjorie is lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, David; her daughter Tricia (late John) and grandchildren Ashley and Christian; her daughter Laurena (Tim) and granddaughter Penelope; late brother Arthur Shaw (late Mavis); late brother Ronald Shaw (Joyce); and brother George Shaw (Margaret); along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the professionalism of the Paramedics, and the Doctors and Nurses at Ajax-Pickering General Hospital.
