GREEN, Peter Emsley Green

On Monday, June 2nd, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, Peter Emsley Green passed away peacefully at the age of 80 at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia.

Devoted husband of Patricia Green for 55 years, and loving father to Sasha, Michael (Anita), and Emily Lucchese (Greg). Cherished Poppa to Desmond and Archer Lucchese. Predeceased by his parents, Lilian and Sidney Green, and his brother Norman. Survived by his sister Carol Randall (Charles).

Peter was born in Hatfield, England, immigrated to Toronto in 1966, and settled in Sarnia in 1969. He proudly retired from Cabot Canada after 29 years of dedicated service.

The family expresses deep gratitude to the caring staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice and extends special thanks to Dr. Lebert, Dr. Kim, Dr. MacSweeney, and the VON Nurses for their support and compassion in Peter’s final days.

As per Peter’s wishes, there will be no funeral and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
