GREENSLADE, Kenneth Clarence Greenslade

Passed away peacefully at the St. Thomas -Elgin General Hospital on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Mary Lou Greenslade (nee Jervis) (2016). Ken is survived by his loving son Tim (Jane Turvey); by his grandchildren Emma, and Garrett; brother Allan Greenslade (Cliff); by his sister-in-law Frances Jervis; by his special friend Mary-Joan Vallis; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Lavine Greenslade; by his daughter Susan Greenslade (1980); by his brother Lawrence (Sheila) Greenslade; and by his brothers-in-law Bob and Don Jervis. Ken farmed for many years and had spent 10 years working at Presstran before his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, playing guitar and singing in music jams. Ken and Mary Lou spent many years together at their trailer in Southampton and were both members of Plains Baptist Church. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, we ask that you dress casually if you are able to join us during this time of remembrance. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at Plains Baptist Church 6071 Fairview Road (at Sparta Line), St. Thomas on Monday December 15, 2025 at 11:00 am. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Private interment of ashes in Union Cemetery on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Plains Baptist Church or the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
